Twice a year, Paris welcomes Première Vision Fabrics (formerly Première Vision), the world’s premier fabric show, which offers up the season’s fashion directions some 18 months in advance. This hub of meetings and inspiration is both a unique place to do business and a trend laboratory. Much to many peoples jealousy, I had the pleasure of attending the September show.
The Première Vision fashion team organises meetings with top experts to help weavers in their creative process. This program involves meetings, synthesis and inspiration. It is a precious information support that benefits the entire creative chain.
A unique and resolutely professional praised by professionals from throughout the world, translated into :

- Event-oriented displays that showcase the fabric designs, with a clear presentation of fashion directions to come, thanks to the last creations of exhibitors… everything is undertaken to inspire your and favour contact-making.

- Ispirational film, Fashion Seminars, season’s colour range, fabric information, on-line fashion space, the daily newspaper… A range of specific tools to accompany all the textile and fashion professionals.
It was exciting discovering and working alongside suppliers who are committed to creating performance fabrics which require minimum maintenance and have a low impact on the environment. Not only is the production of the fabrics seeing a reduction in energy consumption, water usage and CO2 emissions, but when the end user makes their purchase of the garment it requires less drying time, less energy in washing cycles and lasts much longer.
Look out for our new collection later in the year, incorporating these new high-tech, sustainable fabrics.
