Congratulations to Maizie who joins the expanding Dansez Ambassadors team.
Maizie, who attends the Joyce Mason Academy (incidentally so did our MD Samantha many moons ago!) has been dancing for 9 years and was only 3 years old when she made her first stage appearance. She has been competing in dance competitions since the age of 5 winning many trophies and has qualified for the All England finals.
At the age of 8 she successfully gained a scholarship to the Louise Brown York Scholars and over the recent years has continued her dance education with Graham Fletcher of The Ballet Associated, Northern Ballet School and has recently secured her place at Elmhurst Summer school.
“We are delighted that Mazie has become one of our Ambassadors – she is an exceptional young dancer, to be chosen at the age of 9 to dance in the Nutcracker with the Vienna Festival Ballet shows just what a talent she is! Mazies love of Ballet and her passion to follow her dreams in the world of dance is exactly why she is a great Ambassador for dansez – just been told she has recently been awarded a very high mark in her RAD inter foundation exam…well done Maizie!’
