Ok, so we know that England went crashing out of the Euros against a country with a co-manager who is also a dentist and a population the size of Leicester. But let’s gloss over that, because there are still so many reasons to feel proud to be British in this incredible summer of sport we have ahead of us.

For starters, Wales are still in the Euros, the first time they’ve ever reached the final 4, blasting their team’s 1958 achievement of reaching the final 8 out of the water. We’ll be watching them with baited breath tonight. Also, Andy Murray is still in Wimbledon, and after Djokovic’s shock defeat at the hands of Sam Querrey, we’ll be hoping that 2016 will be Andy’s year. His brother Jamie is still in the doubles, so we’re crossing our fingers for a Murray double, and Johanna Konta is also still flying the GB flag in the women’s doubles too. Phew! GB Tennis is looking really bright right now.

And the cherry on this sporty cake is the Rio Olympics starting in a month’s time on the 5th August followed by the Paralympics on the 7th September. So many of our incredible sportsmen and women are going to be in action: confirmed athletes include Andy Murray (again!) Tom Daley, Katherine Grainger, Emma Pooley, Nicola Adams, Jade Jones, Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Adam Gemili and we’re waiting for confirmation on Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis and Greg Rutherford. Competing at the Paralympics we have David Weir, Hannah Cockcroft, Sarah Storey, Ellie Simmonds and countless others. These are just the folk we’ve thought of in the few minutes we’ve been writing this post, but there are so many more. Team GB is looking fierce, and we genuinely cannot wait.

Speaking of looking fierce (See what we did there?) you can show your support for Team GB with our amazing Union Jack range. Not your bag? Then check out the Rio range or even the Tennis Balls sports bra. However you want to represent Team GB this summer, we have something for you.
